1) Who we are

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Appsroket (the “Service”). The Service is operated by Appsroket.

2) What we do

Appsroket curates industry directories (e.g., Gaming AI, Agriculture, Real Estate, Legal Tech, Drone & Robotics, Weather & Climate, Genealogy, Pet Tech). We list third-party tools, vendors, APIs, and learning resources, and may provide descriptive content, metadata, and links. We do not sell the listed third-party products or services and are not a party to transactions you make with them.

3) Eligibility

You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an entity, you represent you are authorized to bind that entity to these Terms.

4) Accounts (if enabled)

If the Service offers accounts or submissions, you are responsible for your credentials and all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of unauthorized use at aappsroket@gmail.com.

5) Directory listings & third-party links

We link to third-party sites and show names, logos, and descriptions that are the property of their owners. Links are provided for convenience only; we do not control and are not responsible for third-party sites, content, or practices. Review third-party terms and privacy policies before using their services.

6) Content; AI/accuracy caveat

Portions of the Service (e.g., summaries, tags, categories like “Ethical”) may be created or assisted by automated systems. Information can be incomplete, out of date, or incorrect. You should independently verify information before making decisions. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information (see Disclaimers).

7) Your submissions (if available)

If you submit listings, logos, descriptions, or feedback (“User Content”):

  • You represent you have the rights to submit it and that it’s accurate and lawful.
  • You grant Appsroket a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, modify (e.g., formatting, resizing), and distribute your User Content to operate and improve the Service.
  • We may moderate, edit, refuse, or remove User Content at our discretion.

8) Acceptable use

  • No unlawful use or infringement of others’ rights.
  • No scraping or harvesting except via documented endpoints or as allowed by robots.txt; do not overwhelm our infrastructure.
  • No misuse of /api/*.json (e.g., excessive requests, removing attribution, re-hosting at scale without permission).
  • No attempts to bypass security, reverse engineer, or introduce malware.
  • No deceptive or manipulative conduct (including fake reviews).

9) Intellectual property

The Service (including text, design, and code) is owned by Appsroket and its licensors. Third-party names and logos are used to identify referenced products and remain the trademarks of their respective owners.

10) DMCA & copyright policy (U.S.)

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, email a takedown notice to aappsroket@gmail.com with the information required by 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3). We may remove or disable material and terminate repeat infringers as appropriate. If you materially misrepresent a claim, you may be liable for damages under 17 U.S.C. §512(f).

11) EU/EEA users — DSA notice (if applicable)

If Appsroket qualifies as an online intermediary in the EU, you may report illegal content to aappsroket@gmail.com. We will review and act as required by the Digital Services Act.

12) Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy (link on appsroket.com). If you are in the EU/EEA/UK, you may have rights under the GDPR (e.g., access and erasure).

13) Affiliate disclosures & endorsements (if applicable)

We may include affiliate links or receive fees for certain placements or referrals. We disclose any material connections clearly and conspicuously. If you post reviews or endorsements through our Service, they must be truthful, non-misleading, and include required disclosures.

14) API and feed terms

If you access /api/*.json or other feeds, we grant a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to request and display results for end-users with unmodified attribution to Appsroket. Do not cache for more than [set your limit, e.g., 12 hours] without permission, re-sell the feed, or remove attribution. We may change, rate-limit, or discontinue endpoints at any time.

15) Feedback

If you send ideas or suggestions, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use them without restriction or compensation.

16) Disclaimers

The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Appsroket disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and availability. Content (including AI-assisted summaries, tags like “Ethical,” and third-party data) is informational only and not professional advice.

17) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Appsroket and its directors, employees, and partners are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of profits or revenues; loss of data; or business interruption, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service—even if foreseeable. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 6 months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; those limits apply only to the extent permitted by law.

18) Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Appsroket from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

19) Suspension/termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, including where required by law, for suspected misconduct, or to protect the Service or users.

20) Changes to the Service and to these Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new Effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

21) Governing law; venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of [add your jurisdiction/country/state] without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Courts located in [add your city/venue] shall have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
